FEMN FEST is an unapologetically feminist festival brought to YOU by a team of womxn-identified bosses.
This year we’re doing things a little bit differently…
In April we announced a few changes to our team:
Hello FEMN FEST community!
This is Abigail. Myself & the FF Organizers have some news & an ask!
After 2 years together building this event & seeing it grow to a surprising & beautiful thing, our personal paths are bringing us 6 to new & exciting places.
With shifting availability, we’re in need of help!
We couldn’t have predicted all our personal wins would hit at the same moment, but we’re also not surprised: in circles of badass womxn, success cycles sync...
So we’re looking for self-driven and passionate people to join the team to continue this fest.
Us, the FF Organizers of ‘17 & ‘18, will be with you (in different capacities) as advisors and partners.
We’re in need of folx able to take responsibility and support of: event coordination (vendor, volunteer, site), music and workshop programming, marketing, sponsorship recruitment, administration, finance, & the lovely miscellaneous bits that this family has tackled together.
We all, & the FEMN FEST mission, need you! Please consider helping, or tag someone you think might be interested and able.
Thank you for all the love over the last 2 years - this isn’t good bye, nor see you later, just an exciting transition that will bring fresh eyes, perspective, energy, and talent.
While we are looking to all of you for help with femn fest 2020, we’re continuing our celebration of womxn with a scaled down event on november 15th at pizza luce in duluth.
To seek and promote gender balance in the arts industry by displaying dynamic diverse representation, increasing visibility, and amplifying underrepresented voices.
